Our name is composed of the words fair and “female lawyers”. We are a labor law firm consisting of two female attorneys: Friederike Boll and Angela Kolovos, and our assistant Jessica Donner.
What we do
We represent employees in labor law. For example, if you are dismissed. Or if you get too little money or no vacation. We explain your rights and what you can do. You decide what we do for you. Then we conduct negotiations with your employer, for example. If that doesn’t help, we take legal action for you in court.
We also represent employee representatives like works councils (“Betriebsräte”) vis-à-vis employers. We advise, negotiate for them and also go to court.
Our law firm also works in anti-discrimination law. Disadvantaged people should be quickly and well supported. The law prohibits many forms of discrimination, such as sexual harassment and racial discrimination or discrimination on the grounds of disability. We support you, if you are being discriminated against and want to defend yourself!
What it costs
You pay as much for our work as the german Lawyers’ Remuneration Act (Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz) says. How much that is depends on your case. We will inform you right from the start.
Do you have legal expenses insurance? Legal expenses insurance covers the costs of your legal proceedings. Please bring your insurance number to your first appointment. We will then inquire for you whether the insurance company will pay the bills for you or not.
For people with little money, the state often pays. This is called „Beratungshilfe“ or „Prozesskostenhilfe“. We can apply for this assistance together with you. We will discuss exactly how this works at our first meeting.
Employee representatives do not bear any legal fees – these are paid by the employer.
If you have any questions, please call us. We all speak German and English. Angela Kolovos can also speak Polish and Greek with you.
